A HISTORY

OF FLAVOR

It was in Minas Gerais that the Italian immigrant couple, Mário and Rosa Silvestrini, produced Brazil’s first soft cheese known as CATUPIRY® Cheese. From a family recipe, the couple brought to life Laticínios CATUPIRY®, a dream that became reality in November 1911, in the city of Lambari.

A 100% Brazilian company, the name means “excellent” in Tupi-Guarani. The quality of the raw materials and the rigor of the industrial processes have made CATUPIRY® an icon of quality and excellence, ensuring high standard products, always tasty and ready to make moments even more delicious.

Currently, the brand has more than 100 products in its portfolio, including various types of soft cheese, cream cheeses, butters, specialty cheeses, sauces, mini savory snacks, cheese breads, savory snacks, artisanal pizzas, among others.
